JOHANNESBURG – Public Works and Infrastructure Deputy Minister Sihle Zikalala has applauded the police, for their renewed efforts in fighting rising incidents of extortion across the country.

Extortionists often disguise themselves as ‘business forums’ and  tend to invade construction sites.
They demand money or a 30-percent stake in building projects, and when denied they disrupt operations with killings in extreme cases.
